Phoenix One launches new training on Microsoft Excel Dashboards and PowerPivot

Phoenix One Knowledge Solutions, a leading IT training provider in Makati has recently launched two new training on Microsoft Excel. Intended for intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel 2010 or 2013 users, the new courses feature Excel Dashboards and PowerPivot.

Excel Dashboards is a two-day training designed for intermediate Excel users who have familiarity with logical lookup and text functions. It is intended for users who seek to integrate various data sources to create interactive charts and present the reports in stunning Dashboards. Advanced charts, KPI dashboards, form controls, data analysis are just some of the topics that will be discussed in this course. At the last day of the workshop, participants are encouraged to bring samples of dashboards that they would like to create during the training as part of practicing and applying the lessons to real-world scenarios.

Excel PowerPivot on the other hand, is also a two-day course designed for those who have experience working with data analysis and advanced logical lookup and nesting functions. The course aims to allow users to perform powerful data analysis in Excel to bring self-service business intelligence right on their desktop. This means allowing users to do advanced analysis and summarize data intelligently using PowerPivot. The workshop will cover what is PowerPivot and its difference to PivotTable, importing MS Access, Excel and other text files as your data sources, creating relationships, using PowerPivot Design and an overview of Data Analysis eXpressions (DAX).

People who are responsible for creating reports and interpreting them from various data sources such as finance executives, data analysts, data scientists or business analysts will find these two trainings helpful in bolstering their Microsoft Excel report generation and analysis skills.
