Course Description

This two day (2) day workshop will provide the business analyst with the required competencies to elicit, analyze and document functional requirements using the UML Use Case Model. The Use Case Model is a powerful tool for documenting functional requirements and the interactions with the different “actors”. The participant will learn how to document the complete software requirements specification at the end of the course.

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

 

  • Appreciate the BA Book of Knowledge relationships.

  • Understand the concept of object-oriented analysis.

  • Learn and apply the UML Notation especially Use Case Modeling in Requirements Analysis.

  • Understand and prepare the non-functional requirements.

  • Prepare the System/Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
