Project Risk Management

Course Description

This is a two-day workshop course in assessing the impact of risks, plan, mitigate, manage and control risks in all types of Projects whether IT or non-IT. This will include theoretical and practical concepts generally applicable to all types of projects.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and appreciate Risk Management concepts.

  • Appreciate the value of Risk Planning and Control.

  • Learn the essential steps in Risk Management; and

  • Appreciate the value of teamwork in any project undertaken.

Pre-requisite 

Completed Project Management course and has actual experience in managing/leading or participating in projects.

Methodology 

  • Combination of lecture, classroom group exercises/presentations, take-home group exercises, and team-building exercises.

  • The client has the option to enumerate a list of projects that they may want the groups to work on.
